As many people avoid investing in the stock market, gold has emerged as the preferred investment for securing future financial stability. This growing shift has significantly increased global demand for the precious yellow metal, leading to a sharp surge in gold prices. Due to this high demand, gold prices have been skyrocketing. Ahead of the Diwali festival, gold prices rose at a rapid pace. While it was initially expected that gold would touch ₹1 lakh per sovereign before Diwali, it reached ₹96,000 and then eased slightly. However, over the past few months, gold prices have repeatedly hit new all-time highs, creating strong volatility in the market. The continuous rise in prices has made gold an unattainable dream for poor and middle-class families. In a bid to grow their savings quickly, some people have even started investing in gold by taking loans from banks and financial institutions. Rapid Price Rise Shocks Buyers On December 9, one gram of gold was priced at ₹12,000, while a sovereign was sold at ₹96,000. Prices then continued to rise gradually. By December 13, gold reached ₹12,370 per gram and ₹98,960 per sovereign. As the previous day was a holiday, the same rates continued. Yesterday morning, gold prices rose by ₹90 per gram to ₹12,460 and by ₹720 per sovereign to ₹99,680. Many believed that prices would not cross the ₹1 lakh mark. However, within hours, another sharp increase shocked buyers. By noon, gold prices rose again by ₹55 per gram, taking the price to ₹12,515 per gram and ₹1,00,120 per sovereign. In a single day, gold prices increased by ₹145 per gram and ₹1,160 per sovereign. This unprecedented rise caused widespread concern, especially among housewives. Sharp Decline After Record High After crossing the historic ₹1 lakh mark per sovereign yesterday, gold prices dropped sharply today. The price of gold fell by ₹165 per gram, bringing it down to ₹12,350 per gram. The price of a sovereign decreased by ₹1,320, settling at ₹98,800. Silver Prices Also Fall Silver prices also witnessed a significant decline today. The price of silver fell by ₹4 per gram, with one gram selling at ₹211. The price of a kilogram of silver dropped by ₹4,000, with silver bars now selling at ₹2,11,000. Last Five Days’ Gold Prices (22 Carat – One Sovereign) – 15-12-2025: ₹1,00,120 – 14-12-2025: ₹98,960 – 13-12-2025: ₹98,960 – 12-12-2025: ₹98,960 – 11-12-2025: ₹96,400 Last Five Days’ Silver Prices (One Gram) – 15-12-2025: ₹215 – 14-12-2025: ₹210 – 13-12-2025: ₹210 – 12-12-2025: ₹216 – 11-12-2025: ₹209
Soaked Fenugreek Seeds: Natural Health Benefits From Better Digestion to Weight Management
Soaking fenugreek seeds overnight and consuming them the next morning is a traditional practice that is now supported by modern nutrition science. Soaked fenugreek seeds are known to improve digestion, relieve constipation, and support overall metabolic health, making them a simple yet powerful addition to your daily routine. One of the most well-known benefits of soaked fenugreek is its role in blood sugar regulation. Research has shown that adults with type 2 diabetes who consumed around 10 grams of soaked fenugreek seeds daily for 60 days experienced a noticeable reduction in blood glucose levels. The soluble fiber in fenugreek improves insulin sensitivity and helps maintain stable sugar levels throughout the day. Fenugreek is also valued for its ability to boost immunity and enhance metabolism. Rich in antioxidants and essential amino acids, it supports the body’s natural defense mechanisms and helps the metabolism function more efficiently. This metabolic support plays an important role in weight loss and long-term weight management. When fenugreek seeds are soaked, their hard outer layer softens, making them easier to chew and digest. Soaking also activates beneficial enzymes and releases compounds such as galactomannan, which helps the body absorb nutrients more effectively and reduces digestive discomfort. Digestive and gut health is another key benefit. The high soluble fiber content promotes regular bowel movements, reduces bloating, acidity, and gas, and helps maintain a healthy gut. Consuming soaked fenugreek on an empty stomach in the morning is often recommended for optimal digestive support. Soaked fenugreek seeds also contribute to healthy skin and hair. Their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help reduce acne, skin irritation, dandruff, and hair fall. Regular consumption may improve skin hydration and support stronger, shinier hair from within. Additionally, fenugreek supports hormonal balance, particularly in women dealing with menstrual irregularities or conditions such as PCOS. By helping regulate hormone levels, it may reduce fatigue, discomfort, and inflammation associated with hormonal imbalance. How to consume soaked fenugreek seeds: Soak one to two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in a small glass of water overnight. In the morning, chew the softened seeds thoroughly and drink the remaining water. For best results, consume them on an empty stomach. Avoid exceeding the recommended quantity, as excessive fiber intake may cause discomfort. Sales Follow-Up: Discipline or Disturbance? And Why Systems Matter
By J Sampath, Founder and CEO of JB Soft System In sales, follow-up is often celebrated as the key to success. “Don’t give up”, “Follow up till you close”, “Sales is all about persistence” – we hear these lines everywhere. But let me ask a simple question: = When does follow-up turn into disturbance? = When does persistence become spam? Most businesses don’t lose customers because they don’t follow up. They lose customers because they follow up wrongly. The Reality of Sales Follow-Up Every lead is a human being. Every customer has: – Their own timing – Their own priorities – Their own pressure But many sales teams treat follow-up like a task to be completed, not a relationship to be nurtured. Calling every day. Sending repeated WhatsApp messages. Forwarding the same brochure again and again. The intention is good. The impact is often negative. Why “More Follow-Ups” Is Not the Answer Many believe: “If we increase follow-ups, sales will increase.” In reality: – Unplanned follow-ups irritate – Untimely follow-ups get ignored – Repeated generic follow-ups get blocked Sales is not about how many times you follow up. Sales is about when, why, and how you follow up. The Real Problem: Follow-Up Without a System Most sales teams fail not because of lack of effort, but because of: – No follow-up schedule – No priority tagging – No reminder discipline – No clarity on what to say in the next follow-up Everything is stored in: – Memory – Notebooks – Personal WhatsApp chats And memory always fails under pressure. Follow-Up Should Be Intelligent, Not Aggressive A good follow-up should: – Add value – Respect the customer’s time – Be contextual – Be well-timed That requires a system, not just salespeople. This is where many growing businesses realize something important: Sales cannot scale with human memory alone. Why Businesses Are Moving to SalesBoost SalesBoost was created to solve exactly this problem. Not to push sales teams harder. But to make follow-ups smarter. With a proper follow-up system: – Every lead is tracked – Every follow-up has a purpose – Reminders happen automatically – Sales teams focus on conversations, not confusion Instead of asking: “Did I call this lead?” The question becomes: “What is the right next action for this lead?” That shift changes everything. Sales Is a Process, Not Pressure The best salespeople are not the loudest. They are the most organized. They know: – When to call – When to wait – When to educate – When to close Systems like SalesBoost don’t replace salespeople. They support them, guide them, and protect customer relationships. Final Thought Follow-up is not spam. But unplanned follow-up becomes spam. If your sales team is working hard but results are inconsistent, don’t push them more. Instead, ask: “Do we have a system that respects both the salesperson’s effort and the customer’s space?” Because in modern sales, discipline beats pressure – and systems beat memory.
Gold Nears ₹1 Lakh Today (Dec. 15) After ₹720 Rise per Sovereign
Gold prices continued their upward trend in Chennai today, touching a fresh high and moving closer to the ₹1 lakh mark per sovereign. The price of 22-carat gold jewellery increased by ₹720 per sovereign, taking the rate to ₹99,680 per sovereign. On a per-gram basis, gold rose by ₹90, and is now being sold at ₹12,460 per gram. The surge is attributed to heavy investments by international investors in gold. Due to the continuous rise in global gold prices, domestic prices have also been hitting new highs. In Tamil Nadu, the price of 22-carat gold had already crossed ₹95,000 per sovereign in October. On October 21, gold touched a then record high of ₹97,600 per sovereign. Although prices fluctuated thereafter, they did not surpass that level until recently. Over the past few days, gold prices have been steadily increasing. Last Friday (December 12), gold prices rose sharply. In the morning, the price increased by ₹200 per gram, reaching ₹12,250, while the price per sovereign jumped by ₹1,600 to ₹98,000. Silver also rose by ₹6 per gram, selling at ₹215. Later that evening, gold prices climbed again by ₹120 per gram, reaching ₹12,370, while the price per sovereign rose by ₹960 to ₹98,960. There was no change in gold prices on Saturday (December 13) and Sunday (December 14) due to the weekend. Today (December 15), gold resumed its upward movement, reaching an all-time high of ₹99,680 per sovereign. The rapid rise, with prices nearing ₹1 lakh per sovereign, has come as a shock to jewellery buyers. Meanwhile, silver prices increased by ₹3 per gram today and are being sold at ₹213 per gram.
What Your Sleep Habits Reveal About Your Nervous System
Waking up tired despite enough sleep, frequent night awakenings, sweating, or feeling “wired but exhausted” are not always caused by stress alone. Experts explain that these signs often point to a dysregulated nervous system, where cortisol levels and circadian rhythm are out of balance. When the body remains stuck in fight-or-flight mode even during sleep, true rest and recovery do not occur. 8 Sleep Behaviours You Should Not Ignore – Waking up sweaty: Indicates elevated cortisol and adrenaline levels during the night. – Teeth grinding or jaw clenching: A physical release of tension linked to anxiety, gut stress, and poor recovery. – Frequent nightmares: Suggests brain overstimulation disrupting REM sleep. – Sleeping with curled or “T-rex” arms: Shows the nervous system is still holding stress while resting. – Talking in sleep: The mind continues emotional processing instead of entering deep sleep. – Sleepwalking: A heightened stress response keeps the body active when it should be resting. – Multiple night awakenings: Often related to cortisol spikes or digestive imbalances. – Difficulty falling asleep: A sign that the cortisol rhythm may be reversed. Psychiatrists explain that restless or fragmented sleep reflects an overactive sympathetic nervous system, while deep, uninterrupted sleep signals healthy parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) activation. How to Regulate Your Nervous System for Better Sleep Experts recommend simple, consistent practices to calm the nervous system: – Slow diaphragmatic breathing to activate the vagus nerve – Reduced screen exposure before bedtime – Consistent sleep and wake timings – Cold exposure, such as splashing cold water on the face – Grounding techniques, including barefoot walking or sensory awareness – Vagal nerve stimulation through humming, singing, or gargling A well-regulated nervous system relies heavily on stable sleep cycles, balanced blood sugar, regular meals, physical activity, and 7-9 hours of quality sleep. Gold Prices Steady at Record High in City; Silver Declines
Gold prices in the city remained unchanged on December 13, holding at their highest level so far this year. The yellow metal is currently priced at ₹98,960 per sovereign (8 grams) and ₹12,370 per gram. The ongoing gold rally is attributed to the US Federal Reserve’s much-anticipated interest rate cut and its signal of further monetary easing next year. This has weakened the US dollar and boosted global safe-haven demand. Additionally, the record-low rupee has supported higher domestic gold prices. Earlier, gold had touched its previous yearly high of ₹97,600 per sovereign (₹12,200 per gram) on October 17. From January 1, when gold was priced at ₹57,200 per sovereign (₹7,150 per gram), prices have surged by ₹41,760, marking a sharp 73% increase. Meanwhile, silver prices declined by ₹6 to ₹210 per gram (₹2,10,000 per kg). On December 12, silver was priced at ₹216 per gram. A business should be a blessing to humanity, not a burden on society.!!
Morning Thoughts By J Sampath, Founder & CEO of JB Soft System Profit-making companies will sustain. Loss-making companies must pause. Loss-making companies running on borrowed money must be stopped. Loss-making companies burning other people’s money must be questioned. Loss making is not a strategy. A business collapsing is not just a business collapsing-it is the collapse of families, careers, suppliers, small vendors, partners, and thousands of connected livelihoods. Ego should never become a business model. Risk-taking should never become ego-fulfillment. Life is not a race. Life is a journey. Business is not to defeat others-it is to serve humanity with harmony. When businesses chase valuation instead of value, when founders chase pride instead of purpose, society eventually pays the price. History Has Taught Us: When Businesses Fall, People Suffer 1. IL&FS (India, 2018) A giant infrastructure finance company collapsed under ₹90,000 crore of debt. What happened afterwards? – Infrastructure projects across India were stopped overnight – Construction workers lost jobs – Banks, NBFCs, and thousands of investors suffered – Mutual funds froze withdrawals One company’s fall created nationwide financial ripples. 2. Kingfisher Airlines (India, 2012) A classic case of ego-driven risk-taking. – 3000+ employees went unpaid for months – Fuel suppliers went bankrupt – Airports suffered dues – Banks lost thousands of crores One man’s pride became thousands of families’ pain. 3. Jet Airways (India, 2019) Once a respected airline, collapsed due to operational losses and unmanageable debt. – 20,000 employees impacted – Travel ecosystem shaken – Lessors, small vendors, caterers suffered A business fall is never a single fall it drags an entire ecosystem. 4. Evergrande Real Estate (China, 2021–2024) One of the world’s largest property developers collapsed under $300+ billion debt. – Thousands of home buyers stranded – Construction workers unpaid – Global markets shaken When companies misuse borrowed money, millions can suffer. 5. Lehman Brothers (USA, 2008) The collapse triggered the global financial crisis. – Millions worldwide lost jobobs – Businesses shut down – Economies crashed One irresponsible company shook the entire world. Businesses Exist to Serve, Not to Show Off A business cannot be a stage for ego and pride. Borrowing money to run losses is not courage. Raising money to burn money is not entrepreneurship. Growing without purpose is not success. True success is: – Creating value – Serving customers – Ensuring stability – Protecting employees – Growing sustainably – Contributing to society A business must grow like a tree – strong roots, slow expansion, and long-term shade for many. A New Philosophy for Entrepreneurs 1. Build to sustain, not to impress. 2. Grow with discipline, not debt addiction. 3. Create value before valuation. 4. Serve society, don’t burden it. 5. Choose harmony over competition. 6. Take responsibility, not blind risks. 7. Let your success lift others, not pull them down. Closing Thought A business should be a blessing to humanity, not a burden on society. When we build with purpose, stability, and responsibility… We not only grow our business—we uplift countless lives around us. Let our journey be one of harmony, service, and meaningful growth. Morning Thoughts of J Sampath Founder & CEO, JB Soft System
“Are We Becoming Servants – or Shapers of the Future?” A Morning Thought Reflection by J Sampath, Founder of JB Soft System
For centuries, anthropology has shown us a repeating pattern in human society: power and resources tend to concentrate in the hands of a few. From ancient kingdoms to modern corporations, the story often looks the same – a small group owns, controls, and decides, while the majority follow the rules laid out for them. In today’s world, the pattern appears to continue. Wealth, technology, and global influence are becoming concentrated within a handful of giant companies and financial powers. A common fear spreads: “Only the big can survive. The big will eat the small.” But is this the only truth? Or are we missing a deeper reality? Do Economists Define the Economy? People often think economists create the economy or decide how the world runs. But, in reality: – Economists study what has already happened. – They analyse patterns, write reports, and predict possible outcomes. – Their role is to explain, not to control. The real economy is shaped not by economists, but by millions of daily decisions made by people, businesses, consumers, and creators. Are We Really Powerless? The biggest misconception is that only governments or corporations decide the future. The truth is more empowering: Every human being is an economic influencer. – When you choose where to buy, you influence demand. – When you start a business, even a small one, you create jobs and economic activity. – When you innovate, you break old patterns. – When you teach, train, or inspire, you shape the skills of the next generation. History shows that many revolutions were started not by the “big” but by individuals and small groups with new ideas. Old Patterns Don’t Have to Decide Our Future Anthropology reminds us that the old pattern – “few rule, many follow” – is not destiny; it is just history. Technology, knowledge, and connectivity today have lowered the barriers. A single talented mind or a small team can influence millions. Examples: – A small startup can disrupt a giant industry. – A YouTuber with a mobile phone can influence global culture. – A local business can impact an entire community’s economy. The world has never been more open to individual influence than it is today. We Are Not Servants – We Are Stakeholders Yes, the wealthy and powerful hold a big share of control. Yes, large corporations dominate many sectors. But every y action we take – how we live, work, buy, create, invest, vote, and speak- contributes to how the world functions. Instead of asking “Are we becoming servants?” the better question is: “How can we position ourselves to lead, influence, and shape the system?” Conclusion The world may seem controlled by a few, but the future is created by many. Every entrepreneur, employee, innovator, student, and decision-maker plays a role. If we understand our power and act intentionally, we can shape an economy where value is shared, voices matter, and small ideas create big impacts. In the end: We are not powerless observers of the world. We are active influencers of the economy – each one of us.
Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia): Early Warning Signs, Symptoms, and When to Act
Symptoms of Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia) Low blood sugar, medically known as hypoglycemia, occurs when the body does not have enough glucose to meet its energy needs. While it is more common in people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, it can occur in anyone under certain conditions. How Low Is Too Low? – 70–55 mg/dL: Mild to moderate symptoms – Below 55 mg/dL: Severe symptoms – Below 40 mg/dL: Critical and life-threatening Common Symptoms of Low Blood Sugar Symptoms can differ from person to person and usually depend on how fast and how far blood sugar drops. They generally appear in two main ways: Body (Autonomic) Symptoms These are early warning signs: – Shaking or trembling – Sweating – Fast or pounding heartbeat – Intense hunger – Nervousness or anxiety Brain (Neuroglycopenic) Symptoms These occur when the brain does not receive enough glucose: – Difficulty concentrating – Headache – Blurred vision – Dizziness or lightheadedness – Confusion or disorientation – Slurred speech – Irritability or restlessness – Seizures – Fainting or loss of consciousness What Is Hypoglycemia Unawareness? Hypoglycemia unawareness happens when a person does not experience the usual early warning signs like sweating or shaking. As a result, blood sugar can drop dangerously low without any clear symptoms. Why It Happens – Frequent low blood sugar episodes – Very tight blood sugar control over long periods – Nerve damage (neuropathy) due to diabetes Why It’s Serious Without warning signs, a person may not treat low blood sugar in time, increasing the risk of seizures, fainting, or medical emergencies. When to Seek Medical Help Seek immediate medical attention if: – Blood sugar stays below 70 mg/dL despite treatment – There is severe confusion, slurred speech, or inability to move – The person faints or becomes unresponsive – A seizure occurs – Sugar or glucagon does not improve the condition How Low Blood Sugar Is Diagnosed Doctors diagnose hypoglycemia by reviewing: – Symptoms – Blood sugar readings – Medical history Common tests include: – Finger-prick glucose test – Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) – Fasting blood sugar or mixed-meal tests, if episodes are frequent Key Takeaway Low blood sugar can range from mild discomfort to a medical emergency. Recognising early symptoms and responding quickly can prevent serious complications. Persistent or unexplained episodes should always be evaluated by a healthcare professional. Disclaimer This content is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Secret Behind Fast-Growing Companies: SOPs By J Sampath, Founder – JB Soft System
In today’s competitive world, every business wants to grow faster, serve better, and operate more efficiently. But while many business owners focus on marketing, sales, and expansion, they often ignore one of the most powerful growth tools available to them – SOPs. Yes, Standard Operating Procedures are the real secret behind every fast-growing and professionally run company. What Exactly Is an SOP? An SOP is a clear, step-by-step instruction on how a specific task or process should be executed in your business. It removes confusion, ensures quality, and keeps the team aligned. Whether it is onboarding a client, designing a creative, posting on social media, or preparing a quotation – an SOP makes the process uniform and predictable. Why Fast-Growing Companies Rely on SOPs 1. Business Runs Smoothly Even Without the Owner When processes are documented, your team does not rely on your memory or presence. The work continues flawlessly even if you’re in a meeting, traveling, or unavailable. 2. Reduces Mistakes and Rework Most business problems come from unclear instructions. An SOP brings crystal clarity – eliminating miscommunication, errors, and rework. 3.
